Chewy is a leading online retailer of pet food and pet-related products in the U.S. and Canada, offering more than 3,500 brands and millions of products from food to apparel. The company strives to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents, treating pets as family.
Chewy rebrand
As Chewy’s brand recognition and trust with pet parents grew, the company began transitioning its private-label brands, including American Journey and Frisco, into Chewy-branded products across food, accessories, and waste management. This shift introduced a new design system reflecting Chewy’s approachable and reliable personality while creating a cohesive identity across hundreds of SKUs. The updated packaging and product imagery were designed to stand out and create a consistent, engaging experience for pet parents.
PRODUCT DETAIL PAGES
Product listing pages (PLPs) and product detail pages (PDPs) play a critical role in the e-commerce shopping experience, helping customers quickly understand product features and benefits while browsing large catalogs.
For Chewy’s private-label brands, PDP and PLP graphics were designed to support the new brand system while clearly communicating key information such as ingredients, nutrition benefits, and product features. The imagery system was built to scale across hundreds of SKUs while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
I designed PDP and PLP imagery and informational graphics supporting the new brand system across a wide range of product categories.
FRisCO
Frisco is one of Chewy’s private-label brands offering toys, accessories, and everyday pet essentials. PDP graphics were designed to highlight key features, materials, and use cases while maintaining the brand’s playful, approachable tone.
The imagery helps customers quickly understand product benefits while browsing the product page.
